MECHANICS OF MOTION SECOND CLASS (TRUST)
For our second class which was on 3 September 2017 last Tuesday , Encik Ezwan instructed us to make a circle. Then, he told us to work in pairs and we can only pick our partner by our side. Next, he read the 3 listed activities that we have to do on that day. Firstly, we have to trust our self by introduce to our partner. Before we start, Encik Ezwan warm us up by letting us chatting and knowing our partner's story for 4 minutes. My partner was Aimi. After telling about our self to our partner, Encik Ezwan let every single one of us to tell the exact story that our partner told us about themselves.
Secondly, we have to act out a scene and tell everybody about an interesting story about our partner. Encik Ezwan also let us having another conversation before we started to act. Me and Aimi act like we have not met for a long time while we shopped at a grocery store. We acted that we met by coincidence. Aimi started to tell me about my obsession with a band called Owl City. Then, I started talking about the thrilling yet scary roller coaster that Aimi was scared when she went to Universal Studio Singapore last Raya.
Thirdly, this time, Encik Ezwan instructed us to switch with other partner. So, this time I paired up with El. Encik Ezwan said this time we have to trust our partner because my partner El, will be blindfolded and she will have to tell her story to everyone while I lead her going through the obstacles. The obstacles were everyone and they will blocked us with their body. The time given was about 1 minute.
I learned that if we want to trust somebody, we have to know about the person by having a conversation with them. We also have to be honest with our partner and care about their feelings to gain trust with each other.
